I am a member of The Waterloo Sunset Quiz Team that play in the Quiz League of London. Our home pub is The Hand and Shears Middle Street London EC1A 7JA. The team consists of Charly Fitzpatrick, Ray Ward, Bob Jones, Steve Cormack and myself. Our question masters are Leo Stevenson and Alistair Kelly.
We finished season 2004/05 in the middle of Division Two. Never mind.
Mastermind Club
The Mastermind Club is open to all that have survived the ordeal of the black chair. . It's a social club for people who are bound together only by shared experience - and that is its greatest strength, because it's the wonderful diversity of the Club's membership that makes the most fascinating and rewarding society you could find.
The “London Branch” of the MMC meets at the Grape Street Wine Bar on the third Wednesday of the month and we always have a really good time.
Annual Reunion 2005 Gateshead
The MMC hold an annual reunion every spring at a different location. This year we went to Gateshead and thanks to the ever-excellent organisation of Gavin Fuller, a great time was had by all. With the usual “Fuller Weather” of course. The weekend consisted of meeting up with friends old and new, drinking, sightseeing, drinking, adding to the football T-shirt collection, drinking and eating.
